The 2015 Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program was announced by the U.S. Embassy to provide opportunities for young graduate students and teachers to study English at a college or a university in the U.S. The candidates must be teaching or training in the following fields to be eligible for the program:
- Anthropology
- Area Studies
- Arts
- Communications
- Computer Sciences/Technology
- Education
- Rural Education
- Teacher Training
- Educational Administration
- Educational Psychology
- Educational Technology
- Humanities
- Languages Literature
- Social Sciences
- Social Work
- Sociology
The fellowship, sponsored by the J. William Fulbright Program, will be a nine-month non-degree program at some U.S. colleges and universities. It will cover the visa application, health insurance, airfare, and room and board. Also included is a monthly stipend for incidental expenses.
