      1.    IELTS
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is accepted by over 10,000 organizations—including educational institutions, immigration authorities, and professional bodies—worldwide. It has three versions that vary based on purpose. Here they are:

·         IELTS Academic is for people who want to study abroad.
·         IELTS General Training is for people who want to work or participate in a training program overseas.
·         IELTS UKVI is for people who want to migrate to the UK.

If you want to ramp up your chances of studying/working/migrating abroad, this is the exam you should take. Consider enrolling in a training facility that specializes in your target exam (e.g., an IELTS UKVI review center if you’re planning to take the IELTS UKVI).

Skills tested by the exam: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking
Exam purpose(s): International studies, employment, professional registration, vocational training, and migration

      2.    TOEFL
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is accepted by most of the colleges and universities in America. It has two main versions: the TOEFL iBT (Internet-based test) and the TOEFL pBT (paper-based test).

Although it is most requested in the US, many educational institutions in other English-speaking countries also require their international applicants to pass this exam. In fact, over 10,000 colleges and institutions in about 130 countries accept TOEFL results.

Skills tested by the exam: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing
Exam purpose(s): International studies employment, and visa (for Australia and the UK)

      3.    TOEIC
