       1.    What is IELTS for UKVI?
IELTS for UKVI is a UK government-approved Secure English Test (SELT) used to prove your English language skills in support of a UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) application.        2.    What are the types of test in the IELTS for UKVI?

The following are the five types of test in the IELTS for UKVI:

        ·         IELTS Academic for UKVI,
        ·         IELTS General Training for UKVI,
        ·         IELTS Life Skills A1,
        ·         IELTS Life Skills A2, and
        ·         IELTS Life Skills B1

       3.    What is the difference between the IELTS for UKVI and the other IELTS versions?
IELTS for UKVI is designed to meet certain administrative requirements that are specified by the UK Home Office. If you’re not making a direct application for a UK visa, you don’t have to take the IELTS for UKVI and just take the other IELTS versions: IELTS General Training and IELTS Academic tests.

       4.    What is the IELTS for UKVI (Academic) delivered on a computer?
If you don’t want to experience the hassles of commute, which can ruin your concentration, you might want to have your IELTS for UKVI (Academic) delivered on a computer, i.e., the Listening, Reading, and Writing components will be taken on a computer.        5.    I want to take the IELTS for UKVI, how do I register?
You can register your application for the IELTS for UKVI at over 1,000 locations worldwide. IELTS has over 160 locations around the world accredited for the IELTS for UKVI, including 10 locations in the UK. You can also book your test via the online registration system.

       6.    Where can I take the IELTS for UKVI?
The IELTS for UKVI test is available in various locations around the world that are specified by the UK Visas and Immigration. Check out the list of dates and locations here.

       7.    If I take the IELTS test for UKVI, can I use my test results in other countries?
Yes, you can. All IELTS test versions are accepted by more than 10,000 organizations worldwide, including institutions, universities and colleges, governments, and employers.

       8.    I’ve already taken a different version of the IELTS test; can I still use my test results to apply to UK Visas and Immigration?
No, you can’t. The UK Visas and Immigration application requires you to submit test results from an IELTS for UKVI test that was completed at an IELTS test center.

       9.    How can I request for an Additional Test Report Form?
You can request up to five additional copies of your IELTS for UKVI Test Report Forms. It will also be sent to your preferred organizations free of charge.

       10.  How can I request an Enquiry on Results?
If you wish to review the results of your test, you can request for an Enquiry on Results. A Senior Examiner will review your test from the British Council within 6 to 8 weeks. The fee for this is £100 or PHP 7,044.17. If your test results improve, you will get a full refund of the Enquiry on Results fee, and you will be given a new Test Report Form with your latest test results.
